Where we are now...

Today my children are 13, 11, and 9. So that means that I am homeschooling an 8th grader, a 6th grader, and a 4th grader. While that may seem challenging (and on some days it is very challenging), it is the life we choose to live. Because we homeschool, my children are able to be involved in lots of extra curricular activities. They are all three in a homeschool band and participate in that twice a week. My oldest daughter does community theater as well as participates in local high school theater programs. She also plays the piano. My younger daughter plays the violin as well as her band instrument, which is the clarinet. She also plays softball, which is about to be starting up! My son plays the trumpet and piano and plays whatever sport is in season, with the exception of soccer. He is finishing up basketball and is about to start baseball! This doesn't count all the activities that they are involved in at our church and then just hanging out with their friends. Whew! That makes me tired just typing that all out.

Life is definitely busy, which is why I MUST stay on top of things. If it is not in my calendar that I carry around all the time, it doesn't get done! I'll post more later about how we try to stay organized and get it all done.

Titus 3:14 says, "Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives."

In all that we do, I never want us to lose sight of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our source of strength and our purpose for being on this earth. It is Jesus who loved us so much that He gave His life as an atonement for our sin. I am undeserving but very grateful for His love!
